The existing website for this software/administration company was all very functional and informative, but it wasn’t very user-friendly.
Navigation wasn’t clear, graphics and icons were bland, text was heavy and technical, and the design was, well… a bit dated.
We rolled up our sleeves and started again so that, while still providing all the relevant information, it was modern, easier to use and more naturally functional.
We also worked closely with the team at FS on their Acurity online web application.
Unfortunately the design of the front-end had put functionality before usability, which while meeting all the user’s needs, didn’t provide a positive user experience.
We focused on UX, the users experience and how they interact with the application. We implemented a dashboard which allowed the user to have all their key items on the dashboard and this achieved the outcome required “do more transactions online”.
